The Cadillac CTS-V is considered to be the best American car ever made. Cadillac and the CTS-V set out to change the way driving enthusiast looked at American luxury sport sedans. The Cadillac CTS-V houses a 6.2 liter supercharged engine (borrowed from the Corvette) that produces 556 hp (horsepower) and 551 foot pounds of torque. The CTS-V’s monster engine give the 6 speed manual (or optional automatic) a top speed of 191 mph.  This is a car that is able to complete a loop of the famous Nürburgring in under 8 minutes, a feat in which few luxury sports sedans can match.

In order for the Cadillac sports sedan to have the room for the 6.2 liter V-8 supercharged engine , Cadillac engineers, bulged the hood and grill area to fit the engine and all the cooling apparatus to keep the high performance sedan cool. The  3.9 seconds 0-60 time is enough to pin any driver to the back of his seat. Motor Trend  declared the Cadillac CTS-V "the fastest, most powerful American sedan in history."  Car and Driver has included the Cadillac high performance luxury sport sedan on its top 10 best ( 10best) list for the last 3 years.

All this American sport sedan performance and Cadillac luxury comes with a $62,000 price tag, but by the sounds of it this car is worth every penny.
