Jaguar refers to the XF model line-up as “Sporting Luxury” – available in 4 different model choices: XF, XF Premium, XF Supercharged, and the top of the line Jaguar XFR. The XF model base price starts at $50,000 MSRP; while the Jaguar XFR, its premiere luxury sport sedan, has a starting price point of $80,000 - adding in available options can push the car’s price to over $83,000.

Not only is there a large difference in price from the two luxury sport sedan models, but the performance and add-ons vary as well. The Jaguar XFR comes with a 5.0L Supercharged V8, producing 510 hp and able to turn a 0-60 time 4.7 seconds, capable of reaching speeds of a 155 MPH governed top speed and still deliver 21 MPG EPA estimate highway mileage. Compare those sport like performance numbers to that of the Jaguar’s base XF’s; a naturally aspirated 5.0L V-8 producing 385 hp. The 0-60 time for the base XF was 5.5 seconds (8/10ths of a seconds slower than the XFR).

The Jaguar XF comes equipped with a suede headliner, soft grain leather seats (the XFR gets R embossed leather seats), dark oak veneer, a 7 inch full color touch screen (with a built-in rear view camera), Jaguar’s smart keyless entry and keyless start, and the Jaguar Drive Control – offering two selections of dynamic or winter controls.

The Jaguar XFR, to complete the more aggressive luxury sport sedan look, the XFR comes with a more aggressive stance by adding 20 inch performance Nevis wheels, hood louvers, slight body kit and suspension tweaking.
